Do recipients or their family have to pay for the Round of a Lifetime or associated costs?

No. The Round of a Lifetime Foundation works closely with its partners, sponsors, and donors to make sure that recipients and their guests enjoy a round of a lifetime at no expense including transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals.


Who can apply to play a Round of a Lifetime at a world-class golf course?

We welcome anybody who has suffered from congenital heart disease and has an interest in the great sport of golf to apply. The Foundation is happy to accept applications from family and friends, on behalf of those suffering from congenital heart disease. Visit the application page to complete the application form.


Are donations to Round of a Lifetime tax-deductible?

Yes. The Round of a Lifetime Foundation is a 501(c)3 Tax-Exempt organization under the IRS. The Employer Identification Number to verify the foundation’s status and to file for deductions on federal taxes is 47-3921930. The Foundation recommends that all donors speak with a tax professional about deductions on their taxes.


Who is Andrew Maciey?

Andrew was a son, brother, cousin, friend, and inspiration to many. He lost his battle with Familial Cardiomyopathy on November, 20 2010 at the age of 24 and is well remembered for his passion in all things golf, Eagles, and Phillies. How does the Foundation select golf courses?

We explore opportunities at the best private and public courses in the United States and around the world. We leverage our personal experience, knowledge of golf, and relationships with courses to select the best experiences for our recipients.


How can I donate?

Financial donations can be made online from our donations page, by contacting us via the Contact Us page on our website, or reaching out to any member of the Board. Event sponsorships and non-financial donations are also appreciated. Please contact us if you’re interested in either of these options and we will work closely with you to ensure a great partnership.


What can I do to help?

The Foundation welcomes sponsors, partners, and advisors of all sizes and backgrounds to help achieve the goal of creating everlasting memories between individuals suffering from congenital heart disease, and their loved ones.


Are there age restrictions?

Absolutely not. Candidates of all ages are encouraged to apply.


What if I love golf, but do not know how to play or am physically unable to play a round of golf?

Please note that when you apply. Although most of our experiences include a round of golf, we would love to work with a great candidate to find an golf-related experience that meets his or her physical abilities.


How many people can join a trip?

The purpose of the Foundation is to create everlasting memories between recipients and their loved ones so we sponsor the recipient and 1-3 guests of his or her choosing to share the experience with. The Foundation welcomes others to join in on the experience, but cannot guarantee accommodations or expenses for additional individuals.
